Welcome to the new school year. You probably are starting to think about returning to school routines, and we are in high gear preparing for our classrooms to be filled with students. The summer has been productive - with summer school, programs for migrant education and kindergarten camps to help students achieve their academic goals.
This edition of the newsletter includes some information about:
Use of personal electronic (cell phones/watches/internet enabled items) during the school day.
Information about athletic events.
Food service where every student receives a breakfast and one lunch within state/federal programs without a charge to parents.

Next week marks the start of home athletic contests at Molalla High School. There are a few reminders I would like to share as we start the 2025-2026 school year.
Admission Prices
Molalla High School will be charging admission (cash or card) for all home varsity football games and home varsity volleyball matches. Admission prices are attached to this communication. (We have also added an online ticket option, if you would like to pre-purchase tickets for football and volleyball) MHS students are highly encouraged to get their ASB sticker from the bookkeeper this week at school. Students with their ASB card and sticker are admitted free to all home MHS athletic events.
The gates for home football games will open 1 hour prior to kick off. Doors and gates will open by 3:30 volleyball contests.
Concession Stands - at all home events, this school year, will be cashless.
Spectator Reminders
Admission to Molalla High School athletic events are a privilege and with that privilege comes responsibility. Responsibility to conduct yourself in a manner where the game is enjoyable for other fans, our visitors and of course the players on the court. All competitions must reflect mutual respect among all participants, officials and fans. The Molalla High School athletic department would like to remind you to sport a winning attitude, on the field and in the stands. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding shouting or screaming at referees/officials, players on the court or field, coaches and opposing fans. The Molalla High School Administration reserves the right to remove any spectators who do not follow these guidelines.
Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Reminder
Each of us is here to either compete in a sporting event, or to support those who are. An event in which the rules apply equally to everyone, designed to ensure fair competition, encourage sportsmanship, and bring out the best in each participant. On the field, the officials enforce those rules, and assess the appropriate penalty when they are broken. As fans, friends, parents and members of the Molalla community, we now have our own rules. Designed to ensure and encourage an atmosphere of SAFETY, TOLERANCE, ACCEPTANCE and RESPECT for all of us. We call it being a STAR, and it means not threatening or ridiculing anyone in attendance based on their race, gender, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or religion. Violation of these rules will result in the appropriate penalty, including potential ejection from this and all future interscholastic events. Let’s all make an effort to bring out the best in the students we’re here to support, and in ourselves. Because Greatness…is Hateless
