For more than 100 years, Molalla Athletics has united generations of students, families, and alumni. Our programs have always been about more than the scoreboard; they cultivate integrity, perseverance, teamwork, communication, and a deep sense of belonging.
But today, our facilities no longer reflect this proud legacy.
The grass field at the Burghardt Sports Complex—installed in the 1950s and the track was last resurfaced in 2006— neither facility is meeting the demands of year-round use. It is often muddy, uneven, and unsafe. Soccer and Girls Flag Football, as well as the community's youth sports team use separate fields.
Our kids, our community, deserve better.
We’re Building Something Transformational!
Thanks to remarkable leadership gifts—including $1 million from Dale and Julie Burghardt, $250,000 from Terry and Cheryl Holden, and $1 million from the Molalla River School District—we are well on our way to providing a state-of-the-art sports complex that will build on our long legacy.
We now need to raise the final $900,000.
Gifts Directly Support:
Turf installation at Burghardt Stadium
Track resurfacing
Stadium enhancements (goals, signage, sound system)
These improvements will serve youth, high school athletes, and the entire community—and unlock a $2.75 million future endowment from the Burghardt's and Holden's to ensure long-term maintenance and excellence.
Construction begins Summer 2026. The time to act is now.
Will you help us finish this important project?
